新題目：
A) Short Essay Prompts: For the 2024-2025 application year, we have three short essay prompts that are required for first-time applicants:
1 – Why are you pursuing an MBA? (150 words)
2 – Describe your short-term and long-term post-MBA career goals. (150 words)
3 – At Anderson, our mission is to prepare transformative leaders by developing students to think innovatively, problem-solve, and adapt to others – all with a driven and purposeful mindset. How do you plan to achieve your goals and develop into a transformative leader during your time at UCLA Anderson? (250 words)
Strong essays describe the impact of your achievement and clarify its connection to your future MBA plans in the short- and long-term. We look forward to learning about the specific ways your achievement helped set you up for future success.
舊題目：
For the 2023-2024 application year, we have one essay question that is required for first-time applicants and optional for re-applicants:
UCLA Anderson seeks to develop transformative leaders who think fearlessly, drive change, and share success. We believe the ability to persevere is an essential component of effective leadership. Please share an example from your personal or professional life where you demonstrated perseverance to accomplish a significant goal or milestone. (250 words maximum)
Strong essays describe the impact of your achievement and clarify its connection to your future MBA plans in the short- and long-term. We look forward to learning about the specific ways your achievement helped set you up for future success.
今年的第三個題目，和去年的題目雷同，而新增的第一第二題，是很常見、也是非常重要的 why MBA，以及短、長程職涯計畫，如何寫這兩題，可以參考更完整的提問以及解析 – Columbia 第一題論文解析。(Columbia MBA Essay Analysis 2024-25 哥倫比亞商學院）
第一、二題的面試（口說）版本，今年我們決定和學生，在快要寫完 career goal essay 的時候，就強制練習第一次的模擬面試！以往大家都會等等等，等到繳交完申請文件，再來臨時抱佛腳，甚至有人都等到收到面試通知，才開始準備，真的太晚了。
第三題從一個 behavioral question，變成比較像是 career goal + why UCLA Anderson 的題目，但同時，題目的註解裡，學校又希望申請者把自己過去的成就，連結到未來職涯計畫，在 250 字的 essay 裡，需要包含這個多面向，感覺不容易。而過去幾年，UCLA Anderson 在 essay 題目、學校網站，強調的中心思想是：think fearlessly, drive change, and share success, 而今年的題目，則是講到 think innovatively, problem-solve, and adapt to others.
就像位於紐約這個大城市的 CBS, NYU 兩校，Anderson 申請者除了寫學校的資源以外，同時可以發揮對 LA 這個城市的喜愛。我相信許多大城市的申請者，從學校網站上查到的課程、教授資訊，或者聽校友提到的社團、課程、學校文化等等，都極有可能讓你愛上這個城市的資源，當然也都可以當做你非 Anderson 不念的佐證；而因為題目裡有寫到職涯規劃，我建議至少寫一個與 career goal 相關的、學校的資源，因為畢竟讀 MBA，大部分學生的首要任務，就是想找到更好的工作。(延伸閱讀:MBA essay 亮點怎麼找？重點在找出自己的「獨特性」)
題目註解裡，學校希望申請者提出自己過去的成就，我覺得可以分兩種成就，一種是工作上的，如果你有協助公司做數位轉型，或者協助公司引進社會責任 (CSR) 的概念、執行，那麼這種變動下，團隊的挫敗，以及最後的成功（舉出實例），或許可以和你在 Anderson 的課堂、社團裡，想要討論什麼大膽創新的題目，做出連結；另一種是你在大學社團，或者志工活動裡的成就，如果你有幫任何組織，解決問題、同理他人，那麼這個經驗，將如何幫助你在 Anderson 創立社團，或者當某組織的規劃者、當一年級生的 buddy，都可以做出連結，讓學校想像你會是一個如何的 community member，以及你會如何有效地運用周遭的資源。（延伸閱讀：產業、頭銜擺一邊，你在職場的影響力，才是錄取關鍵）
從你的經歷、興趣裡面，發掘自己的特點，展現在這篇 essay 裡，我覺得是很大的重點。我有時介紹我的學生，和我過去的學生認識，有助於他們認識這個學校，在網站上所獲得的資訊以外的面向，鼓勵大家也留意 Anderson 的線上、線下 coffee chat，多多參加、發問，沒有準備好題目的與會者，也至少好好觀察大家的發問。
這三年來，申請上 UCLA Anderson 的台灣人，都超過十人，還有一年，很巧的都是我的學生，雖然，各校都不例外的，會有一些人最後選擇其他學校，但是 Anderson 一直以來都是很愛台灣申請者的學校，地點又好，加上近年來越來越多學生，對娛樂產業有興趣，身處 LA 的 Anderson 也佔盡優勢。（推薦閱讀：在美國找工作好難？UCLA Anderson 提供的資源、同儕的支持，讓她們放膽去闖！)
